Groz planes have fine & robust Grey Cast Iron bases which are accurately machined & ground to high precision. Sole is flat to 0.003"(0.075mm). Spring steel cutter blade is hardened to 55 ± 5 HRC and hones quickly to a razor sharp, long lasting edge. Accurately machined blade seating eliminates blade “chatter”. Fully adjustable frog provides the required setting for the specific job.
